The Wii is a video game system which was manufactured by Nintendo. The Wii is a seventh generation console. There are currently three consoles that are considered next generation including the Nintendo Wii, Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3. The Nintendo Wii, much like other Nintendo consoles, targets a broader demographic that its competition. The Nintendo Wii has currently sold more units than the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. The main thing that sets the console apart from its competition is its controller.
